CraftRift Weather (weather.craftrift.com) is an informational website providing weather forecasts, prayer times, and dust and air quality indicators for seventeen cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The project is an independent personal project, not yet commercially registered, and is operated from within Saudi Arabia. For privacy-related questions you may reach us at: support@craftrift.com.

When you visit the site we automatically collect limited technical data, including your IP address, browser and operating system (user agent), browsing language, referring page, and visit time.

We use cookies in three categories: necessary cookies to operate the site, analytics cookies to measure page performance, and advertising cookies to serve Google AdSense ads.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, phone number, or address. We do not track your precise GPS location.

We process data to deliver the service, measure performance, improve the user experience, and display relevant ads to cover operating costs.

Under GDPR Article 6, our processing is based on the legitimate interest of running the site and on your explicit consent for analytics and advertising cookies.

We rely on external service providers to operate the site: Google AdSense for advertising, Google Analytics (GA4) for analytics, WeatherAPI.com for weather data, and the Aladhan API for prayer times.

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and is independently responsible for how it processes the data it receives through your visit.

Necessary cookies store your language and selected-city preferences; they cannot be disabled without affecting the site's functionality.

Analytics cookies are used by Google Analytics to count visits and measure performance in aggregate form.

Advertising cookies are used by Google AdSense and its partners to show personalized ads. You can manage preferences through your browser or via Google Ads Settings.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.

Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits. Users can opt out via www.aboutads.info.

Your data may be processed on servers located outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including servers operated by Google and other technical providers.

We select providers that adhere to internationally recognized data protection standards, taking into account the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

We keep server logs for between 30 and 90 days for security and troubleshooting purposes, after which they are automatically deleted.

Google Analytics retains session data for a maximum of 14 months, in line with the privacy settings configured in our account.

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, object to its processing, and file a complaint with the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).

Under the EU GDPR you have rights of access, erasure, objection, and data portability. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) you have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of your data.

The site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from them. If we become aware that data from a minor has been collected, we will delete it promptly upon verification.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect technical or regulatory changes. The date above indicates the most recent update, and your continued use of the site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
